Jysk Limited have been granted planning permission to develop a new outlet in Kilkenny City.
In November of 2022, Jysk applied to develop Unit 4 of Kilkenny Retail and Business Park at Springhill.
The submitted plans sought to alter the existing retail unit to include the construction of a new first floor mezzanine retail space.
Also planned were internal alterations including the provision of storage/stock room, internal lift, circulation and escape stairs.
Those plans hit a speed bump in January when Kilkenny County Council requested further information from the applicant in relation to the development.
The plans have now been approved, subject to six conditions, by Kilkenny County Council.
