Ahead of the June Bank Holiday Weekend, St Luke's General Hospital for Carlow/Kilkenny wants to remind people of all their treatment options before attending the Emergency Department.
These include pharmacists, your GP and Care Doc Out-of-Hour Services (0818 300 365 / 059 913 8100).
The Emergency Department will continue to deal with all medical emergencies however some patients may experience long waiting times as staff will prioritise the sickest and most urgent cases for treatment and care.
