La Bottega in Kilkenny City is under new management.
Anita Sgroi and Giuseppe La Spina have recently taken over the James’ Street business.
The young couple from Sicily have been living in Ireland since 2018.
They decided to move here after a holiday trip in Kerry, where they fell in love with Ireland.
Giuseppe was a chef and a pizza maker in Sicily and Anita has been a pastry chef and barista in the past.
“We will bring to the shop our knowledge and experience, along with the best Italian ingredients - a selection of pizza, pasta, traditional desserts and Italian delicatessen, including wine,” Anita says.
“We want to thank you everybody for the support so far. We feel very lucky to be part of Kilkenny community.”
