A decision is due later this week on plans submitted by Hebron Ventures Ltd for proposed development on a site at Black Mill Street in Kilkenny City.
Proposed is the construction of 23 dwelling units consisting of five three-bedroom terraced houses, two two-bedroom semi-detached houses and a four-storey duplex and apartment building consisting of eight two-bedroom apartments, six three-bedroom two-storey duplex units and two four-bedroom two-storey duplex units.
The applicant also seeks the demolition of the existing Black Cat public house and associated outbuildings, the demolition of the existing forecourt structure and associated shop, the removal of existing services and the provision of vehicular access from De Loughry Place.
Also to be sought will be internal roads and footpaths, stepped pedestrian access through to Dominic Street, surface level carparking, cycle parking, refuse storage, public lighting, landscaping and public realm upgrade works, and all associated site works.
