Bookville, a Kilkenny festival of books for families and children, is celebrating its eighth consecutive year with events getting underway last Thursday.
Sixty workshops given by 27 children’s authors and illustrators, covering creative writing, history, comedy, music, illustration, Gaeilge, drama, music, storytelling and poetry have taken place with more still to come before the festival draws to a close tomorrow (Wednesday).

Among those involved this year was author and sports journalist Evanne Ní Chuilinn who visited Loughboy Library on Monday.
Pupils from 1st to 6th class, SN Moin Ruadh were fully engaged as they learned all about the history and culture of Gaelic Games through stories and illustrations.
