Kilkenny gardaí out in force in the city

Kilkenny gardaí have been out on the city and county's roads over recent nights.

Their presence on the roads follows a conscience effort by the force to ensure safety on the roads.

Meanwhile, An Garda Síochána recently confirmed developments in the rollout of three average and nine static speed safety cameras, including one static speed safety camera in County Kilkenny.

The nine static speed cameras are being funded from the Garda budget at a cost of approximately €2.4 million over the next 18 months.
