The HSA is investigating.
The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) and gardaí are investigating an incident in which a man lost his life, on the outskirts of Kilkenny City.
The man is believed to have been struck by a vehicle yesterday afternoon (Thursday). The accident occurred in the Dublin Road area.
The HSA confirmed they are aware of this incident and have launched an investigation. No further details of the matter have been released by the HSA.
