Kilkenny drivers hit with court dates as gardaí pounce

Kilkenny gardaí seized two cars while on patrol in the city in recent days, leaving the drivers with pending court dates.

"Two for the price of one," a garda post to social media read.

"One car seized for no insurance, One car driver disqualified had his car seized. Just one towtruck needed. Economies of Scale," the post added.

Meanwhile, another road user was handed a Fixed Charge Penalty Notice for parking illegally.
"Some would say that the off road ability of a Land Rover knows no limits. Others insist the Land Cruiser has it beaten," a garda social media post stated.
"We're not going to speculate which is more capable but would like to point out that being able to go anywhere and being allowed go anywhere are two different things.
"Fixed Charge Penalty Notice issued to the owner of this Suave SUV," the post added.
