A well-known Kilkenny bar and restaurant has been nominated in eight separate categories ahead of the upcoming Leinster Regional Irish Restaurant Awards.
Bollard's Bar, based on Kieran Street in the city will attend the ceremony in Kilashee Hotel, Naas on Tuesday, March 11.
Now celebrating its 16th year, the awards showcase the best restaurants, cafes, bars and food services on offer.

"We were delighted to receive this letter in the post this morning—our nominations for the Irish Restaurant Awards 2025! A huge thank you to everyone who voted for us. Your support means the world," Bollard's posted to social media.
"The buzz at Bollards Bar is better than ever, and we’re so grateful to our amazing team and fantastic customers. Roll on next Tuesday," they added.
