Some members of the local community have been left in a state of annoyance following confirmation that a Kilkenny City Centre will be closed for the next week.
St Mary's Car Park on Parnell Street will be closed to traffic from Monday, July 21 to Monday, July 28.
The parking spot is ideally located in the heart of the city and is just a two minute walk from High Street.
