Fianna Fáil presidential nominee Jim Gavin canvassed in Kilkenny on Friday afternoon, making his first stop at the SOS before continuing into the city.
Mr Gavin was met by a delegation of local Fianna Fáil politicians including Mayor John Coonan, Peter 'Chap' Cleere TD and Cynthia Ní Mhurchú MEP. He then spoke to some members of the SOS community, grabbed a coffee from their baristas and made an appearance on the centre's Dreamtime Radio.
