Storm Amy battered much of the west and north west of the country on Friday but Kilkenny wasn' immune with Kilkenny Live receiving reports of a crash and two fallen trees in the locality.
RECAP - There was a crash shortly after 4pm in Coolbawn, on the Castlecomer Road heading towards Athy in the north part of the county. There has been no reports of any injuries at this point.

Meanwhile, ESB crews were called to clear roads at a number of locations in County Kilkenny where trees had fallen and roads had become impassible.
ESB crews were at work on Friday evening on the Freshford to Urlingford and Kells to Knocktopher routes as well as in the Wallslough area.
