Kilkenny homeowners advised to lock up after reports of attempted break-ins

A residents association group in Kilkenny has urged local homeowners in the area to lock their cars and homes.

"We're already hearing reports of attempted break-ins from neighbouring estates (both cars and houses)," a spokesperson for the Ashfield and Ashfield East Estate Residents Association said online.

Previously, in June of this year, footage of multiple potential break ins emerged online.

The video, released by an Ashfield East resident, shows a thief trying to break into a number of vehicles they came across, including vans with goods in them at 8.30pm on Tuesday, June 17. - READ MORE HERE
