A poignant tribute video honoring the late Tom McGrath has touched hearts online, nearly a year after his sudden and unexpected passing in February 2025.

When news of his sudden death emerged, shock and sadness swept through Kilkenny with the former barman described as a 'character' and a 'gentleman'.

Tom alongside his brother Speedy (Eamonn) McGrath were part of the team at the helm of the iconic pub on Rose Inn Street for a combined 72 years!

Decades behind the bar meant the two brothers were not just service providers, but friends to their customers.
