The winning ticket was sold at this Circle K station on the Castlecomer Road, Kilkenny City
Time has officially ran out in the race to find the winner of a €28,908 lottery ticket sold in Kilkenny City.
The ticket was sold on Tuesday, November 9 at the Circle K Service Station (nearest Castlecomer) on the Castlecomer Road.
The purchaser successfully matched five numbers in the following day's draw thanks to their ticket, but never came forward to claim the prize.
Under Lotto rules, ticketholders have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize.
The claim deadline for this prize was close of business on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.
According to the National Lottery, unclaimed funds go to promote the National Lottery which in turn will increase the funds raised for good causes.
