STUDENTS were among the models who took to the catwalk at the Colaiste Siure fashion show which was held in the Parish Hall in Mooncoin recently.
Fashions from local shops featured in the event which was run by the parents association and students to raise funds for the school. The proceeds raised will go towards library renovations as well as other buying new equipment for the school.
Most of the models who strutted their stuff on the night were students at the school but there were also a number of outside models who were invited to take part in the fundraising event.
The show which was organised by fifth and sixth year pupils was a huge success according to treasurer of the parents association, Joan Butler. “One of the highlights if the night was a X factor type event where there were comedians and singers and various groups performing. The talent on show was unbelievable and the acts were great,” added Joan.
