Social Ability Kilkenny to host trad night for next event

The group's ethos is about bringing people of all disabilities and none together

SOCIAL ABILITY KILKENNY

The event takes place in Harry's Bar

Social Ability Kilkenny will be hosting its third social event next Friday, November 24.

The group will an evening of Traditional Irish Music by local artists at Harry's Bar in Langton's at 7.45pm. Admission is free and Ceol agus Craic is guaranteed.

Social Ability Kilkenny ethos is about bringing people of all disabilities and none together. The group has previously held a movie night at Billy Byrne's pub, along with other events.

"Social Ability is based on the principles of the Connect People Network that was set up in Dublin, were people with and without disabilities came together to promote social inclusion," says Paul Crilly, one of the group's founding members here.

"The movie and bowling night this year were very successful, and we want to keep the momentum going."
