Revenue officers seized a package containing approximately four kilogrammes of herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of €80,000, at a house in the Dunmore area of Kilkenny.
During this joint intelligence led operation by Revenue, the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, and the Kilkenny Drugs Unit, gardaí arrested a 33-year old Irish man, who was detained under Section 2 of The Criminal Justice ( Drugs Trafficking) Act 1996 and brought to Kilkenny Garda Station, for questioning
Investigations are ongoing.
