Weekly robberies in Callan

Fianna Fail’s Matt Doran has appealed to people in the Callan area to keep their eyes open as the level of break-ins in the locality has increased dramatically in the last few months.

Fianna Fail’s Matt Doran has appealed to people in the Callan area to keep their eyes open as the level of break-ins in the locality has increased dramatically in the last few months.

Cllr Doran said “there seem to be a huge increase in break ins in all areas. There are weekly and fortnightly raids on somebody in every parish around. Now I don’t know what it is that we can do as a council but I suppose we’d like to keep people aware because it is become more and more prevalent at this stage.”
