A GROUP of developers has resubmitted plans seeking permission for a petrol station with a drive-through restaurant off the ring road in Kilkenny City.
The applicant DKS Partnership had submitted an application for permission earlier this year but it was returned to them after being deemed incomplete by Kilkenny County Council.
The proposed development at Blanchfieldsland, Hebron Road, Kilkenny consists of a new access road from the roundabout on the N10 motorway link, a vehicle service station with convenience shop, a discount convenience retail unit with alcohol sales and a restaurant with drive-through facility.
Because the site is within the river Nore candidate special area of conservation, a natura impact statement has been included with the application, and an architectural heritage impact assessment has been included regarding the nearby protected structure Hebron House, according to the planning file.
