The clock on the city Tholsel stopped on Friday, but in this case it wasn’t a matter of cutbacks.

The clock on the city Tholsel stopped on Friday, but in this case it wasn’t a matter of cutbacks.

The stopping of time was due to power outages on Friday, according to the council.

“We have had power cuts here in City Hall all day today,” a council spokesman said on Friday. “ESB are working on it and clock will restart within 24 hours of restoration of supply.”
