South East Employment Action Plan

DEPUTY Ann Phelan has welcomed the third meeting of the South East Forum which is tasked with driving the South East Employment Action Plan.

DEPUTY Ann Phelan has welcomed the third meeting of the South East Forum which is tasked with driving the South East Employment Action Plan.

Since its inception, the plan has brought a particular focus to the area which has suffered disproportionately from unemployment

over the years. The IDA has visited no less than 46 different sites across the area, with a view to attract potential investors.

“This government is committed to the continued implementation of the Action Plan and we are determined to ensure that through the work of the forum, to see increased job creation in the South East,” said Deputy Phelan.
