Post mortem on body of Kilkenny city man later today

A post mortem examination will be carried out later today on the body of a local man who was found by children collecting wood for a Halloween bonfire yesterday.

A post mortem examination will be carried out later today on the body of a local man who was found by children collecting wood for a Halloween bonfire yesterday.

The 29 year old, who has not been named, was found off Ballybough Street, in the precincts of a haulage yard. Gardai are not treating his death as suspicious. His body was removed to Waterford Regional Hospital yesterday evening for a post mortem. He may have died from a drug overdose.
