A 32-year-old man from Kilkenny has been arrested in connection with the death of another Kilkenny man in Tramore last night (Thursday).
The 25-year-old victim was found outside a house in Seafield, Tramore at around 11.40pm. It is believed he was stabbed. He was taken to Waterford Regional Hospital but succumbed to his injuries around 1am this morning.
The other Kilkenny man, who knew the victim, was arrested shortly afterward and brought to Tramore Garda Station for questioning. Both men were from Kilkenny City and the man arrested was known to Gardai.
It’s understood they were attending a party for a friend who was preparing to emigrate. Gardai have appealed for any information about the incident.
