The annual Tractor Run in memory of both Sean ‘Minty’ Malone and Martin Duggan is due to take place on Sunday, December 28.
Participants will gather in Ballyhale at 10.30am for registration and departing at 12 noon with the route being different this year.
The event is being held in aid of ‘The Friends of St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny’ and is sponsored by TFM Ballycallan, Doyle Concrete Hugginstown, Murphy Motors Glenmore and Intech Suir Engineering. Organisers are hoping to beat the 240 Tractor record set last year.
It is the fourh year of the run which commemorates Martin Duggan and Sean Malone who were killed in a car accident on December 23/34 in 2011. The tractors will leave the GAA grounds in Ballyhale at noon with registration beforehand. The route will be via Thomastown, Ballyduff, Listerlin, Bishopshall, Murray’s Cross, Mullinavat.
