A DEVELOPER at Rosehill at the Kells Road in Kilkenny is seeking further time to construct 24 apartments and permission to build 20 houses.
John and Elaine Barry of Blackwater House, Mallow Business Park, County Cork have applied to Kilkenny County Council for an extension of duration of planning permission for “Phase 3” of the Rosehill residential development at Maidenhill to comprise 24 apartments in a four-level building over basement car park, plus surface car parking, site development works, landscaping etc. They are also seeking planning permission for 20 three-level dwelling houses, open space/ amenity area, roads, paths, site services and landscaping at Rosehill, Maidenhill, Kells Road.
A decision is due at the end of February, according to the council.
In a separate application, John and Elaine Barry have applied for retention permission for a section of road linking Rosehill Mews and Rose Lawn and associated works and retention of electricity sub-station at Rose Hill Mews, Rose Hill, Maidenhill, Kells Road, Kilkenny.
