FOLLOWING a very successful lecture in February on the polar explorer Ernest Shackleton, the South Kilkenny Historical Society has announced details of its March lecture.

FOLLOWING a very successful lecture in February on the polar explorer Ernest Shackleton, the South Kilkenny Historical Society has announced details of its March lecture.

The lecture, entitled ‘Local History Through the Lens of the Camera’, will take place tomorrow (Thursday) at 8pm in Mullinavat parish hall (opposite the Catholic church). The speaker will be Jimmy Fitzgibbon. Admission is 5 euro (members free). All are welcome.
