Council chairman looking for empty premises

The chairman of the county council, Paul Cuddihy is calling on owners of empty premises to make them available to artists in exhibiting at the Kilkenny Arts Week Fringe festival at a reasonable rate.

The chairman of the county council, Paul Cuddihy is calling on owners of empty premises to make them available to artists in exhibiting at the Kilkenny Arts Week Fringe festival at a reasonable rate.

Kilkenny Arts Festival is one of the best show cases of the Marble city in the year. Cllr Cuddihy said that the less vacant premises on display in the city the better. He said the fringe festival would provide a good opportunity to market empty premises. “ People will be going to the art exhibition and who knows they might decide that they like a premises and decide to rent it after the festival,” said Cllr Cuddihy
