OLYMPIC boxer, Darren O’Neill, and Kilkenny’s captain fantastic Eoin Larkin are teaming up with one of the country’s top dieticians and other health experts for a free Savour Kilkenny ‘Health and Wellbeing Evening’ which should not be missed.
The sporting champions will join dietician Paula Mee on Thursday, October 25 for the free event which begins at 7.30pm at the Ormonde Hotel and will be MC’d by Glanbia’s Kieran O’Connor. Pre-registration is not required but those attending are urged to arrive early. Mee, a leading, independent dietician who also presents RTE television’s Health Squad, will speak about Dairy Goodness. Sponsored by Glanbia in association with The National Dairy Council, the seminar will be of interest to coaches, athletes, those involved with teams or sporting organisations and anyone who wants an insight into the phenomenal commitment and work required behind the scenes to perform at the top of your game. Attendees will get a detailed look at what athletes should eat and drink for optimum performance and elite athletes, Darren O’Neill and Eoin Larkin will share their secrets and show how they balance their diet to ensure they perform at optimum level. The free event will also feature a not to be missed talk with specialist Fiona Hoban, a popular Counsellor & Wellbeing Coach who is well known for engaging her audience with a presentation which has a track record for being popular and enjoyable. Fiona will share her Top Ten Tips for Feeling Good. Doors open at 7.30pm and the presentations start at 8pm. Those intending to attend are urged to arrive early. Refreshments on arrival and the event hosts are providing a free gift bag for all who attend.
