Clara GAA Club is seeking permission to extend its clubhouse building and add a handball alley and walking track.

Clara GAA Club is seeking permission to extend its clubhouse building and add a handball alley and walking track.

The club has submitted its plans to Kilkenny County Council for approval.

It is seeking planning permission for an “extension to existing dressing room and clubhouse building on ground and first floor to provide a total of 564 sqm area, 262 sqm of which forms the extension, and all associated elevational changes. New handball alley building of 115 sqm. New walking track to the perimeter of the GAA Club site with associated street lighting. New on site treatment system and percolation area.

A decision is due to be made by the council by June 14.
