Permission for betting shop

The owners of a premises at the corner of Ballybought Street and the Castlecomer Road have been granted permission to turn the former newsagents into a betting shop.

The owners of a premises at the corner of Ballybought Street and the Castlecomer Road have been granted permission to turn the former newsagents into a betting shop.

Kilkenny Borough Council has granted permission for change of use of the ground-floor property known as Moore’s shop to use as a betting shop with reconstruction of part of the structure and new shopfront/ elevational treatment accessed off Ballybought Street, the first floor to be converted from a single three-bed residential apartment to two single-bedroom apartments, with a common stairwell access off Castlecomer New Road.
