Plans for the new city library on John Street are due to go on public display in early 2013, according to Kilkenny County Council.
It has not yet gone to public consultation as yet because of issues with the archaeology within the site, members were told at the council’s December meeting, but it is “very near to resolution now.”
“When that is signed off, it is going on public display,” likely in January or February, director of services John Mulholland said.
