A FAMILY in Mooncoin in South Kilkenny have spent the past 24 hours scouring the area searching for their beloved King Charles Duke.

The six-year-old dog went missing at around 7pm on Monday evening from their front garden. “We think that he was stolen as there was a strange car in the area and my brother heard a car door banging. The next thing we knew Duke had disappeared,” said his distraught owner Michelle.

The dog is chipped and neutered and the family are offering a reward for her safe return. Anyone with information can contact Michelle on 087 9545049.
