Kilkenny set to say No to abolition of Seanad

With all the Kilkenny boxes open and based on a small, partial tally, the amendment to the constitution seeking the abolition of the Seanad will not be carried. Based on Fine Gael figures the vote is 53% No and 47% Yes.

With all the Kilkenny boxes open and based on a small, partial tally, the amendment to the constitution seeking the abolition of the Seanad will not be carried. Based on Fine Gael figures the vote is 53% No and 47% Yes.

The Carlow boxes are now being opened at 11.40am at the count centre in The Ormonde hotel, Kilkenny.
