First major snowfall of the year

DRIVING conditions this morning have been described as dangerous by gardai.

DRIVING conditions this morning have been described as dangerous by gardai.

This follows the first significant snowfall of the year overnight in Kilkenny city and county and this morning. Extreme care is needed, especially on minor roads where ice may be trapped beneath the snow.
