A number of Kilkenny soldiers serving with the UN in Syria and Lebannon have sent their best wishes to their children for this father’s day.
Private Corey O’Dwyer from the city, a rifleman with 3 Section, said “I would like to wish my 3 year old son Sam all the best from Syria this father’s day. can’t wait to see you when I’m home on leave. lots of love, Dad”
Company Sergeant Liam Dunne of Callan with 2 Platoon said “To my six beautiful children Erika, Shauna, Aaron, Liam, Alena and Luke and my wife Marguerite. Thanks for the lovely father’s day card. Looking forward to seeing you all when I get home in August. Lots of love, Daddy.”
Sergeant Diarmuid O’Dwyer, from Callan, with Company HQ said “I would like to send my wishes to my two beautiful children Sophie and Adam on this coming father’s day, to my wife Monika and also to my own father Joe.
