Garda investigations into a "suspicious approach" made to a child in Caherconlish continue
A man in his thirties was arrested this morning at Greensbridge, where a protest against the construction of a new bridge over the River Nore is ongoing.

A man in his thirties was arrested this morning at Greensbridge, where a protest against the construction of a new bridge over the River Nore is ongoing.

The man was arrested shortly after 10am under the Public Order Act.

He was brought to Kilkenny Garda Station and released without charge.

A file on the matter is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
