KCLR 96fm will host a “Town Hall” style pre-election debate involving candidates for seats in the Dáil in the Carlow-Kilkenny constituency in the Set Theatre in Kilkenny at 7pm on February 16.

The event will be recorded “as live” for broadcast on air on the station on The Sue Nunn Show on February 17 from 10am and noon. It promises to offer members of the public an opportunity to put their questions directly to the candidates who are seeking their votes.

The programme will be moderated by Sue Nunn, KCLR’s station editor. “There are unparalleled levels of interest in this election and we propose in this special event to allow the public to set the agenda with their questions,” the broadcaster said.

Seating at the event is limited. To book a seat, call Martina on 1890 90 96 96 during office hours or email thesuenunnshow@kclr96fm.com.
