Gardai rule out foul play

GARDAI have ruled out the possibility of foul play after the body of a man was found in his home in the city centre this morning (Thursday).

GARDAI have ruled out the possibility of foul play after the body of a man was found in his home in the city centre this morning (Thursday).

The man, who was in his early sixties is believed to be originally from England and was living in the city for a number of months. His body was believed to have been at his home for a number of days before being discovered.

Gardai have confirmed that they are not treating the death as suspicious and the deceased remains have been brought to Waterford Regional Hospital where a post mortem will take place later today. (Thursday).
