Petmania National Dog Walk Just One Week Away

Petmania are reminding dogs and their owners this week that the National Dog Walk 2011 will take place on Easter Monday at 2pm, raising vital funds for the Carers Association of Ireland.

Petmania are reminding dogs and their owners this week that the National Dog Walk 2011 will take place on Easter Monday at 2pm, raising vital funds for the Carers Association of Ireland.

This fun family-friendly event will take place at 13 locations nationwide, with the search well and truly underway for Ireland’s Top Dog. This year, the dog at each location who raises the most sponsorship money will win a year’s supply of dog food, while Ireland’s Top Dog, the dog that raises the most money in the country will get to take his family on a fantastic holiday worth over €1500.

The Petmania National Dog Walk is a 5KM Sponsored Dog Walk. Registration is just €5 for an individual (plus dog) or €10 for a family of up to four people. Organisers expect to see over 10,000 paws pounding the pavements of Ireland on Easter Monday, raising valuable funds for the Carers Association of Ireland.
