Plans are in the works for a petrol station at the N10 motorway link road in Kilkenny city, including a “discount convenience retail unit” and drive-through restaurant.
DKS Partnership is seeking permission from Kilkenny County Council to construct a new access road from roundabout on the N10 motorway link; a vehicle service station to include a convenience shop with food preparation and dining area, car wash and covered forecourt area for fuel sale; a discount convenience retail unit including alcohol sales; a restaurant with drive-through facility for the sale of hot food for consumption off the premises; plus loading and storage area, staff facilities, offices and car parking. A decision on the plans for the site at Blanchfieldsland, Hebron Road, Kilkenny is expected in early March.
