Nore Swim is
set for July 14

This year’s Nore Swim is set to take place on July 14 at 3pm.

This year’s Nore Swim is set to take place on July 14 at 3pm.

Proceeds from the event will go to Cois Noir, the Samaritans and St Patrick’s Centre.

Participants can enter in the categories of women’s race, men’s race and recreational for the swim from Greensbridge to John’s Bridge in Kilkenny city.

Application forms are available from Recharge Cartridges at 9 Irishtown in Kilkenny, Collins Shoes on High Street, Gaules Butchers on Dean Street and from County Hall on John Street. Application forms and sponsorship cards can also be downloaded from

Completed application forms should be submitted to Kilkenny County Council (marked Nore Swim) by June 30, enclosing a €20 entry fee. Sponsorship cards and money can be submitted on the day of swim.
