A KILKENNY petrol station has made it through to the final of Ireland’s Forecourt and Convenience Retailer Awards 2012.

A KILKENNY petrol station has made it through to the final of Ireland’s Forecourt and Convenience Retailer Awards 2012.

The Topaz station on the Waterford Road has joined 44 finalists that and are now set to battle it out at the seventh annual Ireland’s Forecourt and Convenience Retailer Awards 2012, supported by platinum sponsor PostPoint. It is among the five nominees shortlisted in the category of Best Forecourt Facilities.

Hosted by TV3’s Sinead Desmond, the industry awards will take place at Dublin’s Shelbourne Hotel on September 7.

The awards are “a fantastic example of how Ireland’s forecourt and convenience retailers continue to play a vital role in their communities and set industry standards higher each year,” said Bill Penton, publisher of Ireland’s Forecourt and Convenience Retailer.
