ARMED raiders struck the post office in the small village of Glenmore this morning and got away with a sum of money.
Gardai have confirmed that two raiders broke into the Glenmore Post Office this morning (Thursday 01 September) at 10.20 am. The raiders were armed with a sawn off shot gun and a sledge hammer.
No-one was injured in the ordeal but the raiders got away with a small amount of cash. The raiders made their get away in a maroon type saloon car according to Garda sources.
