McDonald’s is seeking planning permission for a drive-through restaurant on the Hebron Road, Kilkenny.

The fast-food chain is seeking to develop a 0.5573-hectare site bounded to the north by Millennium Court, to the east by the N77, to the west by St Mary’s and to the south by the Hebron Road.

The proposed development will consist of a single-storey drive-through restaurant incorporating an enclosed yard, and 67 car parking spaces.

McDonald’s applied for planning permission to put in a drive-through at its premises at Upper Patrick Street, Kilkenny in June 2010 but permission was refused by Kilkenny Borough Council.
