A CONCERT will take place on Thursday morning to raise money for the Cois Nore Cancer Support Service.

The Taramino Quartet will perform at Cois Nore, 8 Walkin Street, Kilkenny on Thursday from 11am to noon.

The coffee concert and cake sale will help to fund the fit-out of the new centre, whose remit is to provide counselling and therapy for people who have been recently diagnosed with cancer and those who have had it for a longer period of time.

After the coffee concert, the members of the Kilkenny Senior Jazz Summer Camp under the direction of Eamon Cahill will be busking at the Tholsel with all funds going to Cois Nore.
