Golden marks for local honey

Local entrepreneur Sarah Gough has received a two-star Gold award in the UK Guild of Fine Food’s Great Taste 2012 for her Sarah’s Zesty Honey with Ginger.

Local entrepreneur Sarah Gough has received a two-star Gold award in the UK Guild of Fine Food’s Great Taste 2012 for her Sarah’s Zesty Honey with Ginger.

The Sarah’s Wonderful Honey range is produced by Mileeven Fine Foods, a family business that Sarah runs with her mother, Eilis, who founded Mileeven Fine Foods in 1988.

Sarah’s Wonderful Honey launched a range of speciality honeys in 2011. It is now available in Ireland, the UK, France, Germany, the US, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Japan and, most recently, China.

The range includes Sarah’s Zesty Honey with Ginger, Sarah’s Warming Honey with Cinnamon, Sarah’s Zingy Honey with Lemon, Sarah’s Joyful Honey with Orange, Sarah’s Scrummy Honey with Sour Cherries, Sarah’s Tasty Honey with Walnuts, Sarah’s Beautiful Honey with Blueberries and Sarah’s Heavenly Honey with Raspberries.
