Plans to build an extension to accommodate a unit for special education needs at Scoil Bhride in Lisdowney have been submitted to Kilkenny County Council.
The school is seeking planning permission “for a Special Education Needs unit extension to west side of existing school building to include classroom, multi-sensory room, staff office together with ancillary accommodation and all associated site works.”
A decision is due to be given by mid-February, according to the council.
