Brothers to be laid to rest

The funeral of Ruairi (5) and Eoghan Chada (10) will take place at 1pm tomorrow (Friday).

Their father Sanjeev Chada remains in custody and is being questioned on suspicion of the murders of his sons.

Hundreds of people are expected at the Mass which will take place at St Lazarian’s Church in Ballinkillen.

A scene has been cordoned off close to Ballintubber Abbey in Co Mayo as detectives try to establish the circumstances of the boys’ deaths.

Their mother Kathleen is being comforted by family and friends at the family home where the boys’ are reposing this evening. They will be brought on their final journey to St Lazarian’s Church from their home tomorrow at noon.
