Do you have the X Factor? What are the perks? No minimum wage. No bonus. No fancy lunches. No junkets abroad to the sun. No reserved car park space.

Do you have the X Factor? What are the perks? No minimum wage. No bonus. No fancy lunches. No junkets abroad to the sun. No reserved car park space.

What are the benefits? Part of a very special branch of Volunteers. Part of an incredible volunteer led organisation. Extensive & ongoing training programme. Priceless life changing skills. We empower our callers to find their own solutions.

What does it take? An open mind. A desire to help to support others. We volunteer for approx. 3 hours every week. We all volunteer for overnight duties. We all attend ongoing training each & every year. We all take on additional responsibilities in the branch.

If you would like to know more, please accept our invitation to attend an Information Evening on what it takes to be a Samaritans Volunteer.

Monday at New Oak Parish Centre, Carlow and Tuesday, February 17 at Butler House, Patrick Street, Kilkenny

Each event starts at 7:30pm and will take no more than an hour. For further information: admin.kilkenny@samaritans.ie Follow The Samaritans on Twitter: KK_CW_SAMS
